To All,
We had about 25 people join our membership, but we are down to about 20. We need about 30 to keep Berks Enduring Freedom up and running.
The task that we undertake to send GOOD FEELINGS to our men and women in the military is a great and tremendous undertaking to be done. At the present time we have 20 members to see that everything gets accomplished. We appreciated all the help that we received at Topton for the packing. The monetary donations and items are also a vital facet to this endeavor.
But there is a tremendous amount of work that has to happen in order for all of these things to come together. With more new names coming in as more troops are being deployed, with only the 20 of us the Operation Enduring Freedom Support group is still in need of membership.
So at this time we are looking for more members, you do not have to have someone serving in the military to be a member. We try to let our service men and women know we haven't FORGOTTEN that they are away from home, DEFENDING OUR FREEDOM .The only thing needed is your commitment to help us accomplish this goal. To them the packages are one of the most powerful moral boosters that they receive.
We have meetings 2 times a month, The first and third Tuesdays of the month, from 7 PM to 9 PM. If you can only make I meeting per month that would be fine. There is so much work to be done that I can't explain it all in this letter, but if you attend the meetings, you will get a good understanding about all the work that needs to be done.
I will be praying that some of you can find the time to help us, so this important endeavor can continue.
If you can find some time and would like to be part of our group, please call 610-927-6874 .

Simone,
When I was overseas, the boxes I got from you guys was an uplifting moral booster for the bunch of us, because I use to put them out for people to take what they wanted and needed. I can't see this thing end, and I didn't know you didn't have much help. I can't do a whole lot right now because of my schedule, but if you need any computer work done at all that I can do from home I will be more than happy to do it. I'm rather good with the computer. I'm attending classes that consume my Tuesdays, but if I get a chance to come to meetings, I will be more than happy to. Let me know what I can do to help.
